Isra Miraj (or Israk Mikraj) is a yearly event for Muslims that falls on 27 Rajab in their lunar, islamic Hijri Calendar. This year 2023, many muslim countries will celebrate Isra Miraj on Saturday, 18 February 2023 based on islamic calendar. However, some muslims in Australia, United Kingdom, India and Pakistan will mark Isra Miraj a day later on Sunday, 19 February 2023. This differences occur because some muslim countries use local moon sighting to create their hijri calendar. Based on global moon sighting, however Isra Miraj, 27 Rajab 1444 AH, falls on Saturday, 18 February 2023.
