Below is a collection of photos of the crescent moon (hilaal) for the islamic month of Jumadal Ula 1444 AH. The crescent moon photos below were taken on the evening of Thursday, 24 November 2022 making the first day of the month, 1 Jumadal Ula 1444 AH falls on Friday, 25 November 2022 based on global moon sighting. This very thin crescent moon was not visible from most parts of the muslim worlds on that day making them to start the month a day later on Saturday based on traditional practice of moon sighting.
From Nevada and Arizona, two photos of the crescent moon were captured. One of the photographer mentioned that the very slim crescent was not visible by naked eye and only through camera was it visible. There is also a photograph of the crescent moon of 1 Jumadal Ula 1444 AH taken from Santiago, Chile on the same evening.
