Saudi Arabia: Eid ul Adha Will Be on Saturday, 9 July 2022

Important Dates for the Hajj Month of 2022, Dhul-Hijjah 1443 AH in Saudi Arabia.

As reported by several news sites, Saudi Arabia has announced that 1 Dhul-Hijjah 1443 AH corresponds to Thursday, 30 June 2022. Today’s moon sighting in the region was a success: crescent moon that marks the beginning of the Hajj or Pilgrimage month was sighted in Tumair, Saudi Arabia. Accordingly, the Day of Arafah – the pinnacle of the Hajj rites – will fall on Friday, 8 July 2022 and Eid-ul-Adha will be on Saturday, 9 July 2022.

However, as usual, no photo of the crescent moon was circulated by the Saudi authority, yet.
