The moon sighting reports and photos of the crescent moon we received below are from the evening of Saturday, 18 October 2020 CE local times.
Therefore, 1 Rabi’ul Awwal 1442 AH corresponds to Ahad, 18 October 2020 CE based on global moon sighting.

We received first photo of the crescent from Br. Achmad Junaidi from East Java, Indonesia. He captured the images of the hilal of Rabiul Awwal 1442 H through telescope and image processed 100 frames of pictures to reveal the very thin crescent moon.
