When Does 1 Ramadan 1441 AH (2020 AD) Start?

The month of Ramadan 1441 AH is marked by the geocentric conjunction of the moon on Thursday, 23 April 2020 at 02:25 UT. There will be a chance to see the crescent moon (hilaal) from the American continent on Thursday evening. Therefore, based on predicted global moon sighting, 1 Ramadan 1441 AH will start on Friday, 24 April 2020. The crescent moon visibility map below describe the possibility of sighting the crescent moon of Ramadan 1441 AH on that day.
