As predicted from the Crescent Moon Visibility Map of 1 Ramadan 1441 AH, the hilaal or crescent moon is only visible from the American continent or the west of it on the evening of Thursday, 23 April 2020. Although there were many moon sighting claims from places east of it, none were accompanied by reliable photograph of the crescent moon. However, we received reliable reports of positive moon sighting from Santa Cruz, California, USA and a couple other places.
Below is a beautiful photograph of the crescent moon of 1 Ramadan 1441 H from that place.
