New: HilalMap – Crescent Moon Visibility Map

Alhamdulillah, praise be to Allah, in the end of islamic year 1440 AH and to greet the islamic new year of 1441 AH, Alhabib Web Service has launched a new tool:

HilalMap – Crescent Moon Visibility Map

This tool enable muslims to visually display the possibility of crescent moon to be sighted in a color-coded, and easy to understand world map. It will help such activity asÂ rukyatul-hilal or moon sighting by giving information about how easy the crescent moon will be sighted from various locations or countries around the world. It gives information whether ones will need optical aids to see the moon or not and where the moon is impossible to be visually detected.

The HilalMap is also a useful guide to design a lunar-based or moon-sighting based islamic calendar.
