The crescent moon (hilaal) of 1 Dhul-Hijja 1438 AH has been sighted from many places. We obtained first photograph of the thin crescent moon from Moh. Redzuan who saw the hilaal from Teluk Kemang, Malaysia on the evening of Tuesday, 22 August 2017. Some reports (without photos) also came from Indonesia.
As a results, based on rukyatul hilaal or moon sighting, 1 Dhul-Hijja 1438 AH fals on Wednesday, 23 August 2017.
