In about one week, the islamic or hijri year of 1430 will come to an end. On Friday, 18 December 2009, the 1431 hijri year will start.
Although there is no religiously endorsed celebration for such event as islamic new year, it has been a custom for many muslims around the world to exchange greetings for this occassion. For this purpose, Alhabib has long been providing a collection of greeting cards with islamic new year theme. These are available in the islamic greeting cards section of the main site.
