Eid ul Adha Mubarak 2009 Greeting Cards

Four days have elapsed since the islamic month of Dhulhijjah 1430 has started this year (2009). It is the month in which the annual hajj or pilgrimage to Ka’bah in Makkah takes place. The 10th of this month will mark the end of Hajj, where those performing the hajj as well as muslims elsewhere will slaughter the udhiyah or sacrifice animals. That day and the next three days is one of the biggest islamic celebration, the day of Eid ul Adha. This year, Eid will coincide with 27 November 2009.

As with the celebration that marks the end of fasting month Ramadan, Eid ul Fitr, there is also a custom of sending greetings among muslims. Eid Mubarak or ‘Blessed Celebration’ is usually exchanged. For this reason, Alhabib has updated the eid greeting cards collection with several new cards. These can be browsed in the islamic greeting card collection. The new greeting cards feature swirl ornaments for the design element. A specific greetings for the Eid ul Adha conveys the message to remember the example given by Prophet Ibrahim, his obedience and sacrifice that becomes the roots of the hajj and eid ul adha rituals.

With this I also say my best wishes to muslim brothers around the world. Eid Mubarak!
