Today, Alhabib Website Ranking Hits below 200,000

As I watched the Alexa banner on my website today, I noticed that the traffic ranking has reached below 200 thousands – 199,314 to be exact. I would like to see it as a bit of achievement. The new website was up and running as of April this year. So, in about 4 months or so it has shown a significant presence in the internet world.

Alexa itself sees only websites with rankings below 100 thousand as having a significant traffic and audience. But for me, the current ranking is a good indication of the acceptance and popularity of the many contents and islamic widgets that are served from Alhabib Islamic Web Service site. At least, Alhabib site has been even more popular in islamic countries like, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. It has rankings within top 20,000 in those muslim countries.

Well, I still want to see the ranking is going better with the passing of time. My target is to break the 100 thousand level. Off course that means a lot of work and improvement to the site. But with the help of the muslim community in the internet and the help from the Almighty Allah, it should not be a far fetching dream.

With this post, I also want to extend my gratitude to those fellow muslims who have been using dan spreading the widgets, greeting cards, calendars and other services. I am also thankful and moved by the so many comments that I received from the shoutbox and the comment box as well as direct contact via email. Those are what make the website still up and serving.

Thank you.
