Recently BBC Australia reported a report by a islamophobic watching group (Islamophobia Register Australia) that a muslim woman wearing a headscarf was assaulted and had her scarf removed. The assault was carried out by un-identified man in the Beeliar Village Shopping Centre in the city of Perth, Western Australia on Friday, 16 December 2016.
Police has investigated this incident that involved a rude word coming from the assaulting man shouting: “f***ing muslim”.
